Non-stop bites all day long! That's how I'd sum up our summer inshore fishing trip with Will and their crew in Hopedale, LA. We kicked off our adventure in the early morning hours, setting out from Cajun Outcast Inshore Charters under clear skies. The conditions were perfect for a day of redfish action, and boy, did we make the most of it. Once the stage was set, we got down to business with some of our favorite inshore techniques. Trout Smack Down
I have been fishing Breton Sound the last few weeks and it has not disappointed. Lots of speckeld trout and even some bonus redfish,flounder, sheepshead and black drum. Weather has been pretty good for the most part and the fish are hungry!!

Scout trip
Went on a scouting trip looking for some speckled trout. Well I was not disappointed. Ended the day with 15 specks and 5 bonus sheepshead.

Cold and rainy.
We had Sam,Franklin,Will and Ward on board with us today. started the morning with some light drizzling rain and cold temperatures. These guys really wanted to go out fishing so that's exactly what we did. Got out to our first spot and right away was on fish. We got a good hour to hour and a half of fishing in. before the winds went from 0 to 25 mile an hour. Once the wins picked up, we had it deep into the marsh, picked up on a few bull reds that were caught in released. By this time, the guys said They were freezing, and we're ready to call it a day. All in all it was a great morning with a great group of guys and a decent catch.

Another Hopedale Slam
Had the pleasure of fishing with this fun group of guys. It was a great time from the moment we left the dock. Lots of jokes and thrash talking and lots of fish. It took about 20 minutes for the fish to start biting but once they started it was on! These guys were so much fun to fish with.

A family day on the water.
Mr. Deldrick and his family came out for a 1/2 day Morning trip. He asked to have a great time and to catch some fish for dinner. He wanted at least one Red Fish. Well we started the morning fishing for trout and one we put about 75 in the boat we headed out to hunt for reds. Well we got to one of my honey holes and first was a sheepshead, his wifes biggest fish so far. Second cast he threw out he landed his redfish. By then Deldrick looked at me and said were good lets head back to the dock. Very fun fun group to fish with. Making Memories One Fish At A Time.

Valero Fishing Rodeo
Was hired to Captain a boat for the Annual Valero Fishing Rodeo. These guys came in from Texas and have never fished our Louisana waters before. Well they did great. It was none stop fun and fish catching. They even took First and Second Place in the Bull Red divison. I also asked Capt. Jonathan with 5 Eaux fishing to cover a second boat for me for the same rodeo. His crew took home four trophies in the kids divison. Both crews were awesome to fish with and already have us booked for next years rodeo. Making Memories One Trip At A Time.

Cajun Outcast Style
Had the pleasure of fishing with some of Baton Rouge Police Officers. They were a blast to fish with. As we were heading to our first fishing spot i told them that we have been catching two at a time and they laughed and said yeah ok. Well we got to the first spot, I hooked them up with double rigs and told them to just drop the line straight down and bounce it a couple times. There was no need to even sling the line out casting. With in seconds they were both hooked up with doubles. with in 4 hours they had 7 Specks and 140 white trout. They both laughed and said we will never doubt you again Captain...lol. One of them called me the next day to tell me his back was sore from all the fish catching. He also booked two more trips while on the phone. So looking forward to fishing with these guys again we had a blast.

We had some of our Regulars today. Mr. Damian, Mr. Greg and Mr Row are always a fun crew to fish with. We departed at 6am and by 10 am these guys were loaded down. Lots of fun, lots of jokes and lots of fish. Misssion Accomplished.

Date day with my Honey.
My Wife Leslie loves to fish and with her working schedule and mine it gets a little tough sometimes to take her. Well I blocked a day for just her and I. I took her to one of my honey holes and with in hours we had 92 White trout in the boat and a few speckeld trout. We cleaned and bagged them all. We kept a few pieces for us for dinner then gave the rest away to out family and neighbors that are not able to get on the water much. It was a great day with my ride or die love.

Shaw Contract.
Mr. Justin from Shaw Contract took out a couple of his clients with us. He asked that they have a great time and catch some fish. Well mission was ACCOMPLISHED!! It was another one stop shop. This crew put a hurting on the fish today. It was non stop action all morning.

Father and Son Bonding
Had Mr. Roy and his son Ethan on board. Such fun clients to fish with. It was a one stop shop. Ending the morning with 12 specks and 56 white trout. The weather was great a little windy while a small storm passed in the distance but then calmed down alot. Ethan did a great job and beating his dad on their bet of who can catch the most fish. Captain Chad was an exceptional guide who took us to a “honey hole” the fist day out where everyone in the boat caught some nice redfish, and most were bull reds. He knows where to go to get you a lot of fish, and when to leave and try another area. Captain Chad keeps you line baited, so you are ready to catch. We plan to go back with Captain Chad. Also, just across the road from Captain Chad’s boat is the Patriot Lodge, and was the nicest lodge I have ever stayed in. Very clean rooms, and bathrooms. The living room had a large nice TV, and the refrigerator was well stocked with food, and drinks. Great Job Captain Chad, and the staff at the Patriot Lodge!
