Snook, redfish, sea trout, and tarpon are just a few of the most exciting gamefish Captain Allen fishes for with light tackle or on the fly. He'll help you learn all the tactics needed to trick that redfish or snook into taking your presentation! Light tackle is always a great way to test your luck against those larger species, while knowing that at any given moment, they’ll make your drag scream! Great news if you prefer fly fishing. For some of us, there's nothing more satisfying than seeing that water rise right behind the fly, just before it's sucked down and all hell breaks loose!

You’ll be cruising the North and South Bay of South Padre Island on a 17’ Savage Creek skiff boat. Its size and skinny water capability makes it the perfect platform for up to 3 anglers to stalk gamefish in these waters. Decked out with all of the necessary safety and navigational equipment, you’ll arrive to the hottest fishing spots in comfort and safety.

Capt. Allen welcomes everyone on board, from hardcore anglers to little ones new to fishing.  He'll provide top tier spinning rods, reels, and tackle.  Just bring your Texas fishing license (and a fly rod if you'd like).
