Captain Ray is a third generation fisherman with 40 years of fishing experience from the Jersey coast east to Block Island and as far south as the Northeast Canyons. Captain Ray has an incredible passion for fishing and the outdoors. He has a 100 ton U.S. unlimited Master Coastguard license and is insured.

Captain Ray specializes in Mako fishing, and there is truly nothing in the world like watching a Mako shark jumping 30 feet behind the boat at 9 knots. In fact, in one day on the water Ray once caught an astounding 9 Makos! Whether you're an experienced angler or it's your first time fishing, Carolann P Fishing Charters will provide you the exciting fishing experience you're looking for.

You'll be fishing aboard 31’ fishing machine custom-built by Luhrs. A spacious vessel with twin 315 HP Yanmar Diesel engines, there is plenty of room for up to 6 anglers. Overhauled in 2019, she's rigged with modern GPS units, a fishfinder, radar, and VHF radios, along with all the necessary safety equipment. This boat is great for those who wish to fish in comfort. There is a full galley, air conditioning, TV, DVD, microwave, restroom, shower, and bunk beds all on board
