With a US Coast Guard license and comprehensive insurance, Mike ensures the safety and satisfaction of his clients as they chase after trophy fish. His dedication to angling excellence is matched only by his academic achievements, having earned a degree in Ocean Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2008. Beyond the confines of his charter boat, Mike's affinity for the ocean permeates his leisure time. Scheduled for the 10-hour journey, our plans for Kraken Down were foiled by adverse wind and choppy conditions. However, the following day, we were warmly welcomed at the dock by co-captain/deckhand Greg. Boarding the boat, we were greeted by a pristine vessel equipped with state-of-the-art electronics, radios, radar, sonar, and top-notch tackle. Setting sail at 6 am under the helm of Captain Mike, we ventured several miles into the Atlantic in search of our prized catches. Despite the persistent rough waters, it was evident that our crew was seasoned in such conditions. Skipping ahead, our day was filled with numerous thrilling catches, including some impressive monsters. Though challenged by opportunistic sharks, we managed to reel in some sizable snapper, albeit losing a few to the hungry predators. Despite this, the experience was immensely enjoyable, leaving me eager for a return trip, armed with the determination to outsmart those sharks next time. Many thanks for the fantastic fishing adventure—I'll certainly be back for more.

The strong wind whipped up large waves, yet Mike persevered in his efforts to locate fish for us. By the day's end, we had reeled in plenty of fish, making for a fantastic outing. I highly recommend his services; it was truly enjoyable.
