We offer bowfishing trips (shooting rough fish) and traditional fishing trips (catching muskies) on some of the best waters that Minnesota has to offer. So no matter what kind of fishing trip you are looking for, we've got you covered!
Try one our most popular guided trips and go bowfishing! These trips are action-packed and unique because you get to shoot fish with bows and arrows! Playin' Hooky Guide Service will supply all the necessary bowfishing equipment and the how-to knowledge. Capt. Cody and his crew welcome everyone on this charter. You won’t need any experience beforehand, because one of their specialties is showing "first-timers" the ropes.
The other type of guided trip we offer is traditionally fishing for muskellunge! If you don't mind putting the work in to catch a fish of a lifetime, then a muskellunge (musky) fishing trip could be for you! One of the most elusive fishes in the world of fresh water, the musky has coined the nickname "the fish of 10,000 casts". With our knowledge of the waters and seasonal movements of these fish, we hope to get your musky in a lot fewer casts!
For overnight trips, we encourage you to bring your favorite caffeinated drinks to help keep you awake and energized for the night. For daytime trips, we will provide polarized sunglasses, and for ALL trips we will have drinking water on board. All trips will require a current Minnesota angling license, so please purchase one of those ahead of time.

Wow, what a great experience! I was hesitant at first as I had no experience bow fishing before. But Cody was the best trainer. I highly recommend Hooky Guide Services if you’re an experienced fisherman like Keanu or a novice bow fisherman like my self.
