Key Largo Reef & Wreck Diving Adventures

Ready to explore the crystal-clear waters off Key Largo? BlueWater Divers runs twice-daily dive trips that'll get you up close with some of Florida's most stunning underwater scenery. Whether you're a certified diver looking to check out famous wrecks or a snorkeler wanting to cruise over colorful reefs, we've got you covered. Our experienced dive guides know these waters like the back of their hand, and they'll make sure you see the best spots while keeping everyone safe and comfortable.
Each trip runs 3-4 hours depending on which dive sites we hit, and trust me – the time flies when you're having this much fun. We launch twice daily, giving you flexibility to pick morning or afternoon slots. The boat's equipped with everything you need: tanks, weights, fresh water for rinsing gear, and even snacks to keep your energy up between dives. Certified divers (ages 10+) join for $100, while snorkelers (ages 8+) can tag along for $95. Just bring your certification card – digital or physical works fine – and we'll handle the rest. The beauty of our flexible payment system means you only put down 25% to reserve your spot, then settle the balance after your dives are done.
We rotate between reefs, wrecks, or a combo of both depending on conditions, certification levels, and what Mother Nature's serving up that day. The shallow reefs are perfect for newer divers and snorkelers – think 20-30 feet with amazing visibility and tons of marine life. Our wreck sites are where things get really interesting for advanced divers. These artificial reefs have become underwater cities teeming with fish, rays, and the occasional shark cruising by. All tanks and weights are included, plus we've got rental gear available if you need it. Our on-board camera rinse station means you can snap away without worrying about saltwater damage. Back at the dock, hot showers and rinse tanks make the post-dive cleanup a breeze.
Key Largo's reefs are packed with tropical species that'll blow your mind. Parrotfish cruise around in schools, their bright colors practically glowing against the coral backdrop. These guys are algae-eating machines, and you'll often hear them crunching away on coral – it's one of those sounds every diver remembers. Grouper love hanging around our wreck sites, especially the bigger Nassau and Black grouper that can reach 3-4 feet long. They're curious but cautious, often following divers around like underwater puppies. Summer and fall are prime time for these encounters when water temps hit the sweet spot. Angelfish and butterflyfish dart between coral heads year-round, but spring brings the best variety as migration patterns shift. Southern stingrays glide over sandy patches, completely unbothered by divers – just remember the golden rule of keeping your hands to yourself. Nurse sharks occasionally cruise through, especially on deeper wreck dives, giving everyone that heart-pumping moment when a 6-foot shadow appears from the blue. Winter diving brings cooler water but often the clearest visibility, making it perfect for underwater photography.
Whether you're logging your 10th dive or your 1,000th, Key Largo's reefs and wrecks deliver every single time.
