Here's how it works: you'll knock out your PADI eLearning before you arrive (trust me, it's way better than sitting in a classroom when you could be diving). Each day starts with a detailed briefing where we cover the specific skills and dive site info you need. The deep dive takes you down to 100 feet - deeper than you've been before - where you'll learn about nitrogen narcosis, bottom time management, and how your gear behaves at depth. Navigation training covers compass work, natural navigation techniques, and kick cycles so you'll never feel lost underwater again. All your tanks, weights, snacks, and water are included, plus we've got full gear rental available if you're not hauling your own equipment. The Nitrox certification adds even more value - you'll learn to use enriched air which gives you longer bottom times and shorter surface intervals. These magnificent predators cruise the reef edges and drop-offs, completely unbothered by divers. You'll often spot Caribbean reef sharks and nurse sharks, with the occasional bull shark making an appearance at the deeper sites. Watching them glide effortlessly through the water column is mesmerizing and really drives home how comfortable you're becoming at depth. Sea turtles are another customer favorite - green turtles and hawksbills feed along the reefs we visit, and they're surprisingly curious about divers practicing their navigation skills. The wreck dives open up a whole different world of marine life. Massive groupers call these artificial reefs home, some weighing over 200 pounds and completely fearless around divers. Barracuda often school around the superstructure in silver walls that part as you swim through. During certain times of year, eagle rays cruise the sandy areas between dive sites - these graceful giants have wingspans reaching 8 feet and move like underwater birds. The night diving opportunities during this course are special too. Octopi emerge from their daytime hiding spots, hunting crabs and small fish while displaying incredible color changes. Moray eels become much more active after dark, and you might catch sight of the elusive spotted snake eel undulating across the sand.
