Another great day on the water with Captain Q! He’s excellent with kids, patient, and keeps everyone engaged the whole trip. His knowledge really shows, and he always has a solid backup plan when the bite slows down. We stayed on fish and put together a nice catch of Vermillion snapper, triggerfish, and a few other species. The kids also loved seeing dolphins up close, which made the trip even more memorable. We had an awesome time on our fishing charter! Captain Q was super knowledgeable and clearly knew where to go. He made everything easy to follow—even for those of us without much fishing experience. We booked our charter to line up with a family trip, but Mother Nature had other plans. A strong lightning storm rolled in the morning of our trip, and it looked like we might have to cancel. That’s when Captain Q stepped up. He reached out the day before to give us a heads-up about the weather and offered backup plans just in case. He stayed in touch the morning of and let us know the moment there was a break in the storm—ready to roll as soon as it cleared. Even with the change in plans, Captain Q was already at the dock, boat spotless and fully prepped. Live bait in the well, cut bait on ice, and rods rigged for our target species. Everything was dialed in. Once we got out on the water, he and his crew got us on fish right away. My young son had never been offshore fishing, and they took the time to ease him in. Before long, he was reeling in the biggest catch of his life—a huge red snapper he’ll never forget. The crew coached him through the fight and even made sure to snap plenty of pictures (which I completely forgot to do). Despite the choppy conditions and a few hungry dolphins trying to swipe our catch, they kept us on fish using different techniques and put us on multiple species. If you’re looking for a charter that delivers not just fish but a great experience, Captain Q is the one. We’re already planning our next trip.

Captain Q is the man! He made sure my family and I were comfortable, engaged, and ready for a solid day of fishing. We landed over 50 fish between the four of us—including king mackerel, amberjack, triggerfish, red snapper, red grouper, and a few others I can't even name. This was easily one of our favorite charter trips out of all the ones we’ve done! Captain Q delivered a successful day on the water and truly went above and beyond.
