Babu Sport Fishing Charters has been fishing the Atlantic City, NJ area for over 50 years, and their captains have over 130 years of fishing experience in this area. From shallow water back bay guided trips to offshore (up to 50 miles off the beach) for shark, Babu Sport Fishing Charters can help you experience everything New Jersey fishing has to offer. The most sought after species are fluke (summer flounder), sea bass, tautog, mahi-mahi, and striped bass. The season starts in April for tautog and striped bass, next sea bass opens, and finally later in May fluke opens. The seasons open and close at various times through the year. Captain John Wilkinson and crew continue fishing until ice starts to form on the decks which is about mid-December.

The boat is a 26' Twin Vee Extreme center console catamaran with twin 150HP Mercury Verado outboards. It can reach speeds of nearly 40 MPH, but you'll usually cruise at about 30 MPH. Since it is an open boat with a small port-a-potty area under the console, you will be in the open air. There is a large T-Top to give you sun protection, but dress warmly especially in the early Spring and Fall when land temperatures are in the 80's, but it is in the 50's on the water. Because of the boats speed, you will be experiencing wind chills in the 40's.

The boat is equipped with VHF radios, chart plotters, GPS, and radar plus all the coast guard required safety equipment, and a first aid kit. All fishing equipment, tackle, bait, and licenses are included in the charter fee.
