Description: The Sand Tiger Shark is one of our favorite shark species. It is not to be confused with the normal Tiger Shark. This shark prefers cold waters and stays to far north for us to target in Florida besides for 1 month out of the year. During this time in January thousands of them will be migrating to the southern most point of their range. This is in Jacksonvile and they congregrate very good here. We typically catch multiple per night and they are all large adult migrating fish. Small numbers of great whites and tiger sharks are also in the area but it is typically only sand tiger sharks. </p>

We met up at 6:45 pm in Boston, MA to take advantage of the prime striped bass and bluefish bite as the sun started to set. The rocky shoreline and submerged ledges around the Boston Harbor Islands provide excellent structure for targeting striped bass and bluefish, with live or cut bait fishing the most effective technique to reach fish holding in the deeper holes and channels. Landed Big Oscar in Boston's Coastal Hotspot

Paragraph 1 (Conditions): soundarya and I set out on our fishing adventure in Boston MA on a June afternoon at 2:45 pm. The coastal waters around Boston feature a mix of rocky structure, sandy flats, and submerged pilings that hold a diversity of gamefish including striped bass, bluefish, fluke, and black sea bass; targeting these structures with live baits, soft plastics, and metal spoons can be particularly productive. The weather was partly cloudy throughout the day, making for ideal fishing conditions. As your guide from the best experience, I was excited to show you the top spots and techniques to target the abundant fish in this area. Paragraph 2 (Techniques & Catches): We started the day with some fly fishing, working the edges of the rocky structure and sandy flats. The Oscar were particularly active and responsive to our presentations, and we managed to land a few nice specimens measuring 569 inches. As the tide shifted, we switched over to live bait fishing, drifting live baits through the submerged pilings. This proved to be a deadly tactic, and we continued to hook up with more Oscar. We also mixed in some spin casting with soft plastics and metal spoons, covering water and searching for active fish. The Oscar were the star of the show, eagerly chasing our offerings and putting up a great fight. The Back Bay of Boston provides excellent opportunities for targeting striped bass, bluefish, and fluke, with productive areas including the Charles River mouth, rocky jetties, and offshore ledges, where live bait and artificial lures can be effective, with best results often found in the cooler early morning and evening hours. With partly cloudy skies throughout the day, we focused our efforts on bait fishing and bottom fishing, as well as casting lures to locate the active fish. Soundarya and I had the pleasure of hitting the water for a day of fishing in the Boston, MA area this past June. We met up at 12:30 pm and headed out under partly cloudy skies, ready to target some of the region's premier gamefish. It was a beautiful spring day in Boston, MA as we got ready to head out on the water for an afternoon of scuba diving in the Kaveri River Basin. The weather was partly cloudy with a chance of afternoon rain, but the ideal water conditions had us excited to get exploring. As a group of four, we made our way to the meeting spot, eager to dive into the river basin and see what awaited us underwater.
