We had an amazing morning on the water with Captain Alex. He's incredibly friendly, well-informed, and, in my opinion, his primary role is that of an educator. I gained valuable insights into fishing in and around Marathon, and my children were able to easily grasp the fishing techniques he was teaching. In just three hours, we managed to catch numerous fish, including enough keepers to provide us with several meals. The three-hour trip was ideal for my three kids, but my spouse and I wouldn't have minded it being a bit longer. Nevertheless, we're looking forward to the next opportunity to book with Captain Alex!

It was our first experience with ocean fishing, and we opted for the 3-hour beginner's excursion with Captain Alex. He dedicated the time to educate us on fishing techniques. We had two teenagers in our group, and they thoroughly enjoyed the trip while also picking up valuable skills for ocean fishing. Once the boys got the hang of it, we managed to catch 10 snapper that were sizable enough to keep. The three-hour duration was just right for beginners like us, and we all had an incredible time.
