Together with you on the trip is Captain Aaron Wittreich, an experienced angler for more than 20 years, with expertise in inshore fishing. The captain will be there to take you to the best fishing spots in the area targeting fish species of Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Snook, and King Mackerel.
You will be embarking on the latest 24’ Shallow Stalker (center console) built in 2022. This modern boat can accommodate up to 6 anglers, equipped with fishing gears, a built-in livewell, and a Bluetooth stereo system. It offers a comfortable space for fishing and relaxing on the waters of South Padre Island.
The trip includes quality fishing equipment, such as rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. The captain also ensures that this trip is family-friendly, and kids are welcome to join aboard. At the end of the trip, you will have the option to keep your catch or simply release it back to the sea. Make sure that you prepare your fishing licenses, snacks, and drinks prior to the trip.

Aaron did an amazing job getting us on some red fish today. We had a great time. The three individual photos the fish were all too big to keep. The other four we kept and grilled em up. Perfection. If in south padre you can’t go wrong.

We had a fun time fishing with Captain Aaron. He is knowledgeable, has a great boat, and gets just as excited as you when you reel in a fish. We highly recommend him and will use him the next time we go to SPI.

Captain Aaron was kind enough to take me out on a last minute booking. He took us straight to the redfish hotspot and put me on the big ones quickly. We hit the redfish keeper limit pretty early and continued to catch and release for a couple more hours. He shared a lot of good info, for the next time I come back here with my boat. As best I could tell, he got the best results out of the numerous guides out here on a very busy Wednesday. Thanks, Aaron!
