For more than four decades, Adirondack Mountain & Stream Guide Service has introduced guests to the vast landscapes of New York’s Adirondack Park. From our base in the High Peaks region, our licensed guides design custom Adirondack fishing trips and wilderness outings that fit every experience level, from first-time visitors to seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Anglers join us to explore some of the best fishing spots Adirondack waters have to offer. Whether you prefer casting dry flies to native Brook Trout, trolling deep lakes for trophy Lake Trout, or chasing aggressive Northern Pike, our guides supply top-quality gear, local insight, and patient instruction to help you land—and safely release—memorably sized fish.
When autumn colors deepen and snow begins to settle, we pivot to Adirondack deer and hare hunting. Small groups follow fresh sign through hardwood ridges and spruce thickets while learning time-tested tracking techniques, firearm safety, and ethical harvest practices. Success is measured not only by tags filled but by the skills and confidence guests carry forward.
Warm-weather months also bring opportunities for kayaking in the Adirondacks and relaxed Adirondack canoe trips. Glide across mirror-calm ponds at sunrise, navigate linked waterways on the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, or spend an afternoon paddling shoreline coves rich with wildlife. Our guides handle logistics, route planning, and basic instruction so you can focus on rhythm, scenery, and simple enjoyment.
Above all, Adirondack Mountain & Stream believes lasting memories grow from shared time outdoors. Let our professional team plan your next fishing, hunting, paddling, or hiking adventure and discover why generations of guests return to the Adirondacks year after year.

Jamie, Cody and Joe hosted us on a 3 night backcountry hunt. Every aspect of the experience was top notch. We didn't get a buck but we had several good opportunities that we should have turned into meat for the freezer. We are already booked for next year!

Our group has used Jamie at Adirondack Mountain and Stream every year for 20+ years for our annual Hare hunts. You will not find a more hard working and qualified guide in the 'dacks. His dogs are well cared for and well trained and will definitely get the hares running! Jamie and his son Cody, who we've watched grow up and work just as hard, make it a fun and entertaining time. Whether its deer or hares, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Adirondack Mountain & Stream.

My small group had a fun and exciting time! The conditions couldn’t have been much tougher, but Jamie and Joe managed to get the dogs onto rabbits for us. I look forward to going out with them again soon.
