With over 15 years of experience, Ajax Charters is a family-owned and locally-operated business that services Boston Harbor and the surrounding waters. This charter is managed and operated by Captain David Bartels, a boating industry veteran and master angler.

Captain David runs the business along with his wife, Alyssa, and he's proud to offer fishing trips to anglers of all experience levels. Light tackle Striped Bass fishing are among the most popular, and allow guests to tangle with the Northeast's most iconic sportfish! Flounder fishing is a light tackle family favorite, great for getting the kids out on the water. Some of the hottest local flounder spots are only a short boat ride away, and you'll be reeling in flatfish with easy-to-use light tackle.

Captain David personalizes every outing to your interests and guarantees a terrific experience for everyone on board. He also enjoys making trips fun and educational for the little ones (age 6+ recommended) and seeing everyone's bright smiles. While on the water, you will fish from a 15' Campion 492 center console equipped with a 2016 Yamaha outboard motor. The boat has new electronics and navigational equipment, meaning all you'll have to focus on is your line. The captain will also provide all licensing, bait, rods and reels, along with safety gear such as PFDs for every passenger.
