Fishing has been good the last couple days! Walleyes were caught on a 13’ hump with rocks and weeds adjacent to deep water. Leeches and slip bobbers have been a deadly combo thrown down wind. Crappies bit on minnows and hair jigs suspended over weed edges.
Drew and Steve had a blast fishing with me the last 4 days and it’s was fun having them in the boat. I was able to help them break both of their personal record crappie and quainty of walleye caught in one day. #GuideMode

Ryon guided a group of us on Lake Gogebic on February 28, 2025. He went above and beyond to ensure that we as clients were on fish. He provided the equipment, the knowledge, and a welcoming environment. In less-than-ideal conditions, we still managed to do extremely well that day. Winds at 40 mph plus and sleeting/snowing like crazy we stayed comfortable and warm in the tent that Ryon provided. Very knowledgeable. Very hardworking. Overall, a great experience and a great guy to spend time with!

Captain Ryon put us on the walleyes right away! I'm no spring chicken, but this was hands down the best fishing experience I've ever had! 🎣
