Amelia Island Charters

Scott , Captain at Amelia Island Charters

Amelia Island Charters is excited to take you on a Florida fishing trip you will want to tell everyone about! Longing to get a taste of a place where the sport is best done? Want to try your hand at catching your very own trophy fish? Hoping to do all this in the presence of a professional, patient, and knowledgeable crew? Then you’ve found the perfect guide for your next fishing expedition!

You’ll be under the wings of Captain Scott who has been guiding Charters for the past 18 years. Before that, he spent over decades in the ship-building business, all the while adding to his 65 years of fishing experience. He takes his guests out for a fun and educational inshore family fishing trip on Amelia Island and works hard to put them in the best spots for some angling action.

Hop aboard his 32-foot Pontoon Boat with a large top for comfort from the sun and comfortable seating. On these trips, you’ll be cruising and enjoying the picturesque beauty of nature and the sea. At the same time, you will be bottom fishing for Redfish, Spotted Sea Trout, Cobia, Tarpon, Black Drum, Sharks, and Whiting.

If you opt to join the sightseeing cruise, it will take you along the Amelia River waterfront, by Old Town, Fort Clinch, and Cumberland Island. You may also arrange a dinner trip to the historic city of St. Mary’s, GA, and discover the best seafood and steaks around town.

The captain also offers wildlife tours, best for guests seeking to have a fun and relaxing outdoor activity and those coming in with the whole family. Encounter a variety of species like dolphins, otters, and numerous species of bird-kids will definitely enjoy!

The fishing license as well as rods, reels, tackle, and live bait for inshore fishing trips are included. An ice chest and ice are available if you wish to bring food and drinks on board. Private Nature/Wildlife, Amelia Island Birding/Photography, and Sunset Cruise trips could last a minimum of 2 hours and may be extended (please let the crew know). The captain will even tailor the trips by request to better accommodate your needs.

This charter is frequently booked – don’t miss out on securing your spot today. JoinAmelia Island Charters on your next adventure!
