I had the pleasure of taking Maylis and their crew out for a 4-hour inshore fishing adventure with Annie Bee Sportfishing in Barnstable, MA. Cincinnati Crew Crushed It – Limits Hit and Calm Seas on the Bay!
Our Crew hailing out of Cincinnati smoked em today! We limited out and we had a beautiful, peaceful, quiet afternoon on Cape Cod Bay, pretty much all by ourselves. We hope to see you later this year! Owen, one of the two phenomenal Mates we have, made sure the boat was in tiptop shape, and ready to go! Hats off to him! I couldn’t thank Owen enough. He’s a great fisherman.

Meat in the Box, Fun on the Bay – Thanks for Rebooking, Frank!
Frank brought his family and friends out for a nice day on the bay! We can’t wait to see you fellas again! And thank you for the rebook! We got all the meat we needed and then went for the trophies and they just weren’t there. That’s fishing. The Jigs caught every fish we landed. Thanks to a good friend in the harbor, we were on the fish immediately. I really wanted to land a pig for these guys but hey, it just didn’t happen today.

Big Fish, Big Day – Striped Bass Up to 40.25" with Marcus from Wampanoag Shells!
To say we did well is an understatement! We had a special guest Marcus from Wampanoag Shells, and he was a fish magnet! Started off with fish 27”-35” and then we moved to one of our secret spots. Fish sizes were 27” 28” 33” 34” 35” 35” 39” 40” 40” 40” 40” and 40.25”, a few more we didn’t measure and also with a bunch of mackerel! Wow what a trip! They did an excellent job of matching the trip to the age of our children. All of our kids (ages 9-17) got to catch fish! They prepared our fish so that we could enjoy them for dinner. Communication was great. We would book again.

My wife and kids went out with Captain Jarred and his mate Owen on 5/28/25, and it was a fantastic experience. We have three boys (ages 5, 8, and 11), and they were great with the kids. We booked a 3-hour trip and caught several slot-size striped bass, including a few in the 30–36” range and one just under the limit. My wife wasn’t sure about fishing at first, but the moment we got on the boat, she was all in and had a blast. We were staying in Chatham and launched from the Millway Beach area. If you're in the mid-Cape area and looking to spend a day on the water, book with Captain Jarred. He’s a true professional who knows the local waters inside and out—he’s been fishing them since he was a kid. We’re from Texas, but if we make it back to the Cape, we’ll definitely book with him again.
