Captain Shant Melkonyan will do his best to ensure that you enjoy a wonderful day of fishing in the charming waters of the Pacific. He operates out of Los Angeles inshore, offshore, reef, flat, and wreck fishing trips. Based on the season and conditions on the day, this comprises 4 to 12-hour outings mostly snagging after Yellowtail Amberjack, Halibut, Tuna, Calico Bass, California Sheephead, and Rockfish. You may anticipate doing different kinds of fishing techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, jigging, kite fishing, and popping on these outings.
The fishing journey begins aboard a 27' Farallon boat, built in 1979, it was refurbished in 2020. With a maximum cruising speed of 20 knots and a 3HP Cummins engine. This veteran boat can securely accommodate up to four fishermen. This boat includes an ice chest. All rods, reels, and terminal equipment are included in the fee, allowing you to concentrate on what truly matters: fishing and having fun! Please remember to purchase a valid fishing license before the trip.

Where do I even begin? I'm so glad I took this trip! Captain Shant and his crew were extremely friendly and helpful when it came to reeling in the fish that we had caught. The crew was alert and made certain that everyone had their fishing poles in order to maximize their fishing time and experience. They clearly knew what they were doing, which made us feel at ease. We caught numerous fish, including sculpin, yellowtail, and rockfish. I'm not sure what the other ones' names were, but the captain knew where to go. Overall, I'm very pleased and will definitely return with a group of friends!

Captain James is the real deal. Not because we caught two 200 pound yellowfin, but because he cares about you having a good time while he works diligently to find you fish. Top notch boat, equipment and Captain. If you get a chance to book an Aquiline charter do it. You will be pleasantly surprised. Captain James wants you to catch fish more than you do. Very professional operation. Five stars!

I discovered Aria Sport Fishing on Instagram and gathered a bunch of my buddies to go on a fishing trip to Catalina Island. Captain Shant was fantastic and really pleasant. The entire procedure was quite nice, and we had a full day of fishing. Some of us were lucky and caught some nice fish, but I can't say the same for the rest. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation, and I'm pleased we were able to participate. We typically fish in the lake, so going out to the ocean was refreshing. Shant comes highly recommended since he is well educated about the differences between lake and ocean fishing. He was really patient with us because this was our first ocean fish expedition. Thank you, Shant, for allowing this to happen for us; we will surely do it again.
