My wife and I went fishing with Matt, my wife was a little nervous but Morgan was there (wife)? And she calmed down, the fishing that day wasn’t hitting on much, water was a little warm, but they made our trip great, took a ride to bald head and down alligator alley, also took us to boiling springs? Where the nuclear power plant releases their water. Which was a neat thing to see. Although the fishing wasn’t the best that day, Matt & Morgan made us comfortable and treated us like family. I will definitely hit Ava Lynn up again when we make our annual trip to Southport.. Thanks guys!!

We came down from Iowa to NC solely to fish, and Captain Matt and his first mate made our trip unforgettable! Great boat, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and super fun to spend the day with. We got out to the Gulf Stream and caught an amazing array of fish! We will be back with Ava Lynn Charters soon!

What a fantastic time we had with Ava Lynn Fishing Charters. Everything went smoothly. On time - made sure we were all comfortable- had plenty of fishing gear no matter what our skill level was - answered our questions - made the whole experience memorable. Went fishing with captain Matt multiple times from 30 to 50 plus miles out, extremely knowledgeable guy and we killed them( lol) it's not just a fishing trip it's an adventure 😀 can't wait till next trip

Highly recommend fishing with Captain Matt with Ava lynn charters. Went out yesterday and although the weather man was terribly wrong, we had an amazing day! A little rough but caught a ton of fish and had a blast doing it! Cptn Matt is extremely knowledgeable and professional. We'll definitely be fishing with him again.
