Your journey starts on the magnificent 28’ Farallon boat made especially for saltwater fishing and is perfect for up to 6 guests fishing at the same time. This vessel is powered by a 330 HP Volvo D-6 engine outfitted with top-notch electronics that will get you to fish in no time.
Captain John will take you to the finest fishing destinations of the season to target the hottest bite of the day. The waters of California are home to a variety of native and migratory fish species, and main targets are typically Halibut and Striped Bass. Fish can be kept or released at your discretion. Let the Captain know if you are interested in a complimentary clean & fillet service!

We had a great trip with Captain John and crew. We limited out on halibut and one extra lucky guy, landed a real nice striper! John and his crewmen kept us on the fish and were great at keeping us fishing and meeting our needs. My 85 year old father even had a great time and was pleased with the whole experience. Kudos to Barbarian Sportfishing, well done!

Captain John Badger and his deckhands were awesome! They were very attentive and helpful. It was a beautiful day on the bay and we caught sturgeon!!! I have gone on a few charter fishing trips and Barbarian Sportfishing has been the best...hands down!

These guys know fish and their experience really shows. Look through their previous trips then look at other charters. No one brings them in more consistently and there is a reason. I'm a guide myself for spearfishing and abalone diving and from a professional stand point, John and Shawn are top tier guides. It's not just the hours you'll be on the water with them but the months before your trip that they spend setting you up for success. Catching their own bait, hunting the water to know when the fish will be where under what conditions. All things that any guide should do but Barbarian Sportfishing is on another level and it shows.
