Blue Bandit Charters is lead by Captain Jim Ilkovich, a local who has lived and fished the area all his life, and is a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He has operated Blue Bandit Charters for over a decade, providing the experience required to make every one of his charters an unforgettable fishing trip.

Whether you're looking to spend an exciting day targeting stripers, venture further offshore for giant tuna or sharks, or catch tasty black sea bass, flounder, pollock, or haddock, Blue Bandit Charters has you covered. Your captain and mate are both passionate anglers who spend their off days fishing and researching gear, techniques, and migration patterns, so you'll always be working with the most up-to-date information, fishing the top spots, and using the hottest gear.

Captain Jim runs a 27’ Cape Horn center console with capacity for 6 anglers at a time. Built in 2011, it boasts all the electronic equipment and amenities an angler can expect for a comfortable, successful, and safe day on the water. Equipped with twin 250 HP Yamaha engines, she runs fast and dry, and you'll be on the fish in no time.

All the rods, reels, and gear you'll need are included in the price, as well as a range of lures and live bait. You're welcome to bring your own rods if you'd like though. At the end of the day, the captain will clean and prepare your catch for you to take home and enjoy the fruits of your labor. There is no minimum age for children with Blue Bandit Charters, and the charter provides vests in all sizes. Fishing licenses are included, so all you should bring are polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, adequate clothing, and a good can-do attitude!
