Blue Light Charters welcomes all angling enthusiasts to experience the thrill of fishing in Johns Island, South Carolina. The island is rich in a variety of fish. You can explore rivers, lakes and even inshore. This is the best opportunity to have a fun and action-packed experience with one of the best fishing guides in South Carolina. Pick your day and join Captain Derrick Bray on an unforgettable trip!
You will board a 20’ Robalo bay boat with room to accommodate up to 4 guests. It runs on a 150 HP Yamaha and uses modern GPS, a Fishfinder, and a wireless Trolling Motor. There’s also a livewell to provide you with live bait. And of course, an icebox for the drinks and catches.
You and your guide will be chasing Largemouth Bass, Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Sheepshead, Sea Trout, and Tripletail. To reel in your catch, you can use light tackle trolling, heavy tackle trolling, bottomfishing, spinning, jigging, and popping. You can choose if you’ll keep or release your catch. Kids are welcome to come aboard, so feel free to bring them as well.

We hired Blue Light Charters for a marsh tour and dolphin watching excursion for family that came to visit and we all experienced a wonderful time. We saw two dolphins and even witnessed a wild hog on the shore! Our very knowledgeable Captain Derrick was very curteous, punctual, relaxed, friendly and took us right to an inlet where the Atlantic Ocean and Charleston Harbor meet. We anchored on the shore of a sandy beach and were able to swim for a bit near a sand bar! I highly recommend Blue Light Charters because of the value, ease of scheduling and enjoyable atmosphere. Would definitely book again!
