Michael Brannin
Brannin Charters, LLC offers exceptional guide services to anglers wanting to get on the water and fish. You will be exposed to the backwaters and flats around Wilmington, NC fishing for great inshore species. These areas are beautiful and almost untouched. They are loaded with creeks and open bays, giving us the advantage to chase tailing red drum on the flats and creeks. All the charters will be inshore and mainly using light tackle. We will be targeting red drum, black drum, speckled trout, and flounder. Fly fishing is available. However, be sure to contact the captain prior to the trip so it can be prepared.
All of the tackle and fishing licenses will be provided and are included in the price shown. The only thing needed will be food and drinks and other necessities you would like with you on the charter.
The vessel you’ll be fishing from is an 18’ 2010 East Cape Lostmen flats boat. It can take up to 3 anglers and is extremely versatile, allowing for almost any style of fishing. The boat runs on a 70 HP Yamaha engine and uses modern electronics for efficient navigation. Also, there’s an onboard wireless trolling motor, an icebox, and a livewell. On top of all, the vessel is even accessible to guests in wheelchairs.
