Chuck is not only a dedicated angler but also a certified guide with First Aid, CPR, and Boater Safety Course certifications. He and his wife specialize in panfish tournaments, especially crappie, and are passionate about sharing their knowledge with others.

What We Offer

At Brecht Fishing, we offer a variety of fishing trips to suit every angler. Our boating trips cover a wide range of species including panfish, crappie, catfish, and walleye. For those looking for a more immersive experience, we provide wading trips for large species like catfish, walleye, and smallmouth bass. If you’re visiting during the winter months, we also offer ice fishing trips (weather permitting) for all species. For beginners or anglers looking to improve their skills, we provide instructional fishing trips, utilizing top-tier sonar and tackle. If you're after a more relaxed experience, enjoy native trout fishing, or try dock and shore fishing for a peaceful day on the water.

Fishing Locations

Your adventure begins at Linesville Marina, where you’ll set out on waters like Pymatuning Lake, Lake Wilhelm, and Clarion Reservoir, all teeming with fish. These areas are known for abundant species and provide the ideal setting for anglers of all levels.

Your Boat

Brecht Fishing uses a 17ft Crestliner 1750 Series boat, built in 2015 and restored to like-new condition. It’s equipped with a 20hp Yamaha 4-stroke engine that cruises at about 15 mph. The boat accommodates up to 2 anglers plus gear, with a 600 lbs total capacity, making it perfect for a comfortable and efficient fishing trip.

Important Details

Before your trip, ensure you have a valid PA Fishing License, which is required for all fishing activities in Pennsylvania. We also ask for 24-hour notice for cancellations, so please plan accordingly.
