You will be joined by Expert Guide, Jason Reichler, born and raised in New Hartford, fishing in Farmington River ever since he was a kid. He is recently endorsed as a Pro-Guide by Raven and has continuously provided his pin-fishing guiding services to all anglers.

Prepare your waders as you take on a unique fishing adventure with Guide, Jason. You will be catching river species of trout through the centrepin fishing technique, where a large arbor centrepin reel will be combined with a quality light action rod. This method allows anglers to cover large areas of water to increase their chances of fishing success. It also allows more room for enthusiasts to get their next trophy fish. Centerpin spinning will surely give you a one-of-a-kind fishing trip.

Come take a spin on centerpin fishing while chasing Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Steelhead Trout, and other river species in the area. As you go through the multiple riffles, runs, and pools of the river, do not forget to bring your fishing license with a trout stamp.

Once you bring these, you are all set to have a wonderful time in Connecticut. Wade along and fish for your next trophy fish with CT Pin Fishing Guide Service!

Brown Trout Winter Morning

Finally found some time to put the rods down and post some fish. This was a favorite from a recent trip up North. I’m guessing about a 12-14 lb hen Chuck full of eggs

Chilly Fall Morning

Chilly morning bite. The Farmington river is starting to get some tree leaf change and continues to be low and slow. Still some dates available in spring for anyone interested in learning how to pin

Farmington River Fishing Report

Fishing out of Farmington River is still on point with plenty of various Trout species rising, and fish coming to small nymphs. Conditions remain the same as the stream flows below the normal level but it is very clear. Mornings are always perfect for float drops. Book a trip and let’s get out on the lake!

Breathtaking Rainbow Trout

This fish had loins and breath taking color. I was at the right place at the right depth at the right time. Fishing is getting better day by day. This was a fantastic morning to be on the Naugatuck. Flows were perfect for the centerpin. Special thanks to Ryan for the pic and a congratulations to him on getting his first fish on the pin this morning!
