Captain Austin McWhorter

Captain Austin McWhorter will take you on an excursion through the shallow grass flats and inshore waters of Tampa and Clearwater Florida. He has spent the last 10 years as a full time guide studying every cove, inlet, and honey hole in the area in order to deliver the best fishing experience to his customers. After fishing with Capt. Austin, you can expect to leave his boat having had a great time, learned some and wanting to come back for more action!

Your adventure will take place on a 24’ Sheaffer Marine center console, equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including navigational electronics, safety gear, fishing tackle, and a live bait tank or his beautiful new 17' Maverick HPXS. You’ll have coolers with cold water and plenty of storage on the boat for your belongings. Depending on the season, the you can expect to target all of your inshore favorites, including Tarpon, Snook, redfish and trout. You may also encounter Tripletail, Cobia, Snapper, Kingfish, and black drum that like to lurk in shallow waters.

You’ll be provided with top-quality rods and reels and catches live bait prior to pick-up. All trips depart from either the Belleair Causeway/Seminole St. Boat Ramps in Clearwater and the Cove Cay Marina on the west side of Tampa Bay.
