Captain Ted is great with new and novice fishers, patient and thorough in instruction. He's kind hearted, polite, professional and doesn't speak "like a sailor". Great fishing captain for business trips or family or just hanging out with the friends. We had a girls weekend on the boat and enjoyed a great fish dinner

Captain Ted and his wife Charity did an amazing job and in rough waters to boot. We didn't catch a lot but Captain Ted did all he could to catch us something. I highly recommend them for your fishing charters needs. Very social and friendly, very down to earth people. If you plan to fish out of Grand Haven, Ted is your guy!

Ted is a great guy, very easygoing and fun to be around. He was an awesome guide / captain / coach (I have zero experience) and we were able to bring in a big king salmon!! Would recommend him to anyone!!

I have been on many charters and many different boats. I can say Teds boat was easily the most comfortable boat I've been on. Plenty of room to get out of the sun during the slower fishing times and a bathroom that was plenty large enough for adults. If you are taking smaller kids out this is a perfect boat. As far as fishing goes I feel Ted knows what he's doing and if the fish are biting Captain Ted will put fish in the boat. We caught 5 fish and had 8 on the line on a day when fishing was very slow. As far as personality I felt Ted was very professional. He doesn't need help running lines but if there is a fisherman wanting to help and learn Ted was more than willing to let them handle some of the fishing duties under a watchful eye. Overall I would say I highly recommend Captain Ted.
