Chatham Inshore Charters welcomes you to Savannah and invites you aboard for some awesome fishing. Spend the whole day drifting along the local waterways, fishing for the season’s top freshwater fish. Chatham Inshore Charters depart from Bells Landing to Forest River and Houlihan Landing to the Savannah River. Your trip will be with Captain Dave Rusell. He’s been fishing for more than 20 years in Savannah that’s why he's the best guy for the job. He will surely bring you to the best fishing spots.
The vessel you will be spending your day aboard is a 21’ Mako Center Console boat. The vessel can accommodate up to 4 anglers and get you into the very best waters without spooking the fish. The boat runs on a 150 HP Mercury engine and is equipped with the latest GPS and Fishfinder. There’s also a live bait well and an icebox for your drinks and catches.
Your target species are Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Catfish, and Redfish. Captain Dave will teach you all his techniques such as Bottom Fishing and Trolling on a light tackle. Surely, beginners and seasoned anglers will enjoy this trip. Kids and families are also welcome.
All fishing equipment is covered by Captain Dave including the fishing license. Don’t forget to pack some snacks and drinks for the day.

Although the beach in Savannah was fantastic, I must say that our fishing trip during this stay was the HIGHLIGHT of our entire trip! We arranged a fishing trip with Captain Dave while there. Captain Dave was incredibly informed, competent, kind, and understanding toward my family. This amateur group's first-ever fishing trip was converted into one of the most incredible memories by him! We hooked a stingray in addition to fish and sharks. We even caught sharks that were so large they broke our lines (all were released). I would advise and fervently urge anyone searching for a fun fishing vacation to book with Captain Dave's business as soon as possible! You won't be let down! Although my family and I caught some incredible sharks and rays and even watched some incredible dolphins play, the memories and joy they had on this trip were incomparably priceless to me. Absolutely, I'll be a repeat client!!

Dave is the best captain there has ever been. He kept us amused and knew precisely where to take us to catch a variety of fish. For my mother-in-law's birthday, she thoroughly enjoyed herself.
