Coastal Water Charters is a fully licensed and insured USGC charter captain. Captain Ryan was born and raised in Central Florida and spent most of his life living on the coast of New Smyrna Beach. He is a firefighter by trade and has been an avid fisherman since childhood. He spends his free time with his family or exploring Mosquito Lagoon in search of the next great fishing spot. He loves to teach and is a passionate angler. Book a charter and he would love to take you fishing in the backwater or in the river.
Captain Ryan is a seasoned fishing guide with years of experience, and he'll do everything in his power to make sure that your day out on the water is full of fun and excitement. On his 3 to 4-hour trips, you'll be primarily fishing for Redfish, Snapper, Snook, Flounder, Black Drum, and Tarpon - some of the most sought-after game fish in Florida waters.
Captain Ryan Birge grew up fishing in east-central Florida, where he learned how to use every inch of his boat's limited space wisely while also maximizing every inch of his client's experience out on the water. Captain Ryan knows how important it is to have fun when you're on vacation—that's why his goal is always to make sure that your trip feels like an adventure with him as your guide, not just another day at work or school!
