D.C. Outdoor Adventures invites you to explore the thrill of fishing as you have never seen it before. Their action-packed freshwater and saltwater charters offer you a great way to spend a day close to nature during your vacation in the beautiful state of New York. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced angler you will walk away with a great experience and hopefully a great catch.
You will be guided by an experienced and passionate guide, Captain Dennis Caracciolo who started fishing when he was 2. With his decades of experience, you can be sure he’ll put you right on top of the fish, be able to make lifelong memories, and have some great stories to tell your friends later.
Kick start your adventure by hopping on a 28’ Parker boat that’s powered by 2 500HP Yamaha engines. This safe and reliable boat can comfortably accommodate up to 6 anglers. It also features a toilet and bed on board and comes equipped with the standard marine and navigational electronics a charter might need, such as top-of-the-line GPS, fishfinder, outriggers, icebox, and live bait well as well as Tuna tubes.
Depending on what you want to catch, you may come face to face with species like Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Porgy, and more! The captain will teach you various fishing techniques like using light & heavy tackle, bottom fishing, fly fishing, bow fishing, drift fishing, trolling, jigging, and more!
Captain Dennis is happy to provide you with all the fishing gear your group will need, along with the live bait, fishing license, and catch cleaning & filleting. A first mate will be on board as well to better assist you with your needs. Please note that there will be a 20% tip for the first mate Don't forget to bring your snacks & drinks, sun protection, and be in your weather-appropriate clothing.
For those that would like to Spearfish, Bowfish, or Fly fish, please bring your own equipment. This is not included and will not be provided. For every other fishing style, Penn rods and reels are the ones readily available for use.

Booked a fishing charter with Captain Dennis for May 27, 2021. It was anything but that. It was a CATCHING charter. ALL. DAY. LONG. Action was nonstop. Bluefish after bluefish. Captain Dennis helped me tune my top water skills, which I thought were already pretty good. My success rate jumped immediately. He's patient, extremely knowledgeable, and a true master at his craft. I avidly fish and hunt all over the USA and Canada. I've had many excellent experiences over the years. This one tops them all. He knows where the fish are, and he will follow the fish to keep the action coming during your trip. This was just the first of many trips I will be taking with him. Already planning a sea duck hunt with him later this year (and I live on the Chesapeake Bay if that tells you anything). Aside from all of that, he's a great guy with a lot of different experiences. We talked about life for 8 hours while we fished. You leave the dock at the end of the day with an improved skillset in all aspects of your life. Not too many outfitters can offer that. I am not a guy who leaves reviews. I felt obligated to leave this one. Thanks Captain.

It was a fun day full of catching fish. We caught and released a bunch a huge bluefish and schoolie striped bass. We jigged with light tackle and used live bait. Ended with one keeper striped bass and kept a few smaller blues. Overall fun day of catching fish!
