Day 5 Charters

The fishing action wasn't at its peak, but that's just the way it goes with fishing – sometimes you hit the jackpot, and other times it's a bit elusive. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly endorse Day 5 Charters. They were incredibly accommodating and made every effort to ensure we had a successful outing. While our catch may not have been as substantial as we hoped, the overall experience was fantastic.

Our fishing charter experience with Day 5 Charters, led by Captain John, was truly exceptional. Captain John not only demonstrated immense knowledge but also brought a friendly and humorous vibe to our outing. He navigated us to an excellent fishing spot, where we began reeling in a diverse range of fish right away. It had been some time since my last fishing excursion, and Captain John's assistance proved invaluable. Our time on the water was immensely enjoyable, and we wholeheartedly recommend scheduling a trip with Day 5 Charters. The next time we find ourselves in Fort Myers Beach, I would eagerly book another charter with Captain John.

A family of six, including four young children, enjoyed an excellent fishing adventure in the back bay and ventured a bit into the nearshore waters. We had a bountiful catch of snapper, and it was a fantastic first-time experience for the kids!

What an incredible charter trip it was! Captain John wasted no time and had us connected with an impressive 8-foot Bull shark mere minutes after arriving at our destination. It was a momentous occasion as it marked my daughter's first shark catch, with her boyfriend's assistance. The battle was nothing short of fantastic. We also had some early encounters with Tarpon, which put on quite a show by leaping into the air and managing to free themselves from our hooks, creating some exhilarating moments. We weren't discouraged, though, and soon found ourselves locked in another intense battle as we hooked a second Tarpon. Following an extensive struggle, we finally reeled in a very reluctant Lemon shark, which measured an impressive 10 feet or more. But Captain John wasn't ready to call it a night, and neither were we. The evening concluded with another exhilarating hookup – a colossal Goliath Grouper! Three anglers, three significant catches, and three sets of expectations surpassed. In simple terms, it was a resounding WOW!

Our day out was absolutely perfect! We not only caught some fish but also had an incredibly enjoyable time. Captain Josh was exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend booking a trip with Day 5 Charters.

Captain Josh was truly outstanding! Despite the unexpected weather conditions, he adapted the plan to guarantee a successful fishing experience. We managed to reel in a significant number of fish, and he made the outing engaging for everyone, including my 9-year-old. We're now contemplating the possibility of embarking on a second trip later this week.
