Specializing in trolling, one of the most effective techniques in Manistee, Captain Greg will lead you in targeting Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Coho Salmon, and Chinook Salmon. With cut bait as your secret weapon, these voracious fish won't be able to resist your offerings.

Prepare to fish aboard the 30' Cherokee sportfishing boat, equipped with powerful twin 350 HP Crusader engines. This spacious vessel comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, providing ample seating options. Whether you prefer the shaded comfort of the dinette under the hardtop or the open-air ambiance at the back of the boat, you'll have a delightful setting to enjoy during your trip. Additionally, an enclosed cabin features a private head for your convenience. Rest assured that Dog Bone Charters is fully licensed and insured, prioritizing your safety throughout the journey.

Onboard, you'll find essential amenities, including a private toilet in the enclosed cabin. The boat is equipped with GPS, Fish Finder, a bed, live bait well, an ice box for storing fish, and radar. One of the highlights of your trip is Captain Greg's dedication to cleaning your catch. After capturing memorable pictures, he will expertly clean and package your fish, ensuring you can take them home to enjoy.

Before setting sail, please ensure that each person aged 17 and older has obtained a valid Michigan fishing license. Don't forget to pack essential items such as sunscreen, sunglasses or a visor, a raincoat with pants, warm clothing, and coolers (one for packaged fish and one for beverages). Snacks, beverages, and ice are essential, and feel free to bring enough food to share with everyone. As long as you're of legal age, you're welcome to bring alcoholic beverages on board.

Start your adventure at the Manistee Marina, which offers free parking nearby. We request that you arrive at least 15 minutes early to meet the friendly crew and load your belongings onto the boat.
