Had an amazing day on the water with Captain GG and Jordan! The day started off slow, but the bite really picked up. We ended up catching 9 Mahi Mahi, a Yellowfin, and a Barracuda. At one point, we even had 3 Mahi on the line at once! The crew was fantastic, and if you're heading to Puerto Plata, you’ve got to fish with these guys. Thanks for an unforgettable day!

Our family had an awesome time! We’re a family of four with kids ages 11 and 13, and both got to catch fish. They took turns in the fighting chair, and the crew did a fantastic job keeping fresh bait on the lines and making sure the kids were happy. The boat was stocked with plenty of water, Coke, and chips for the kids. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you!

Our day started with a surprise time change (ship time vs. local time), but the captain made it easy to adjust. Communication was quick and seamless. He patiently waited for us at the Amber Cove gate, and after a short drive, we were on the boat. The crew gave us a great overview of the day before heading out. We were warned the water might be rough, and while we thought we could handle it, after two hours we decided to head back in. The crew was incredibly patient, managing the lines and taking care of those feeling the waves. Despite the challenges, we still landed a barracuda to end the day. Got some great pictures and a smooth ride back to the port. All in all, it was a memorable day on the water in the Dominican Republic!

We stopped at Amber Cove on a cruise and were picked up right outside the port by the Doña Nina Fishing crew. About an hour into the trip, the action started—we caught Tuna, Wahoo, and even 2 Sailfish! The captain and first mate mentioned how rare it is to catch two Sailfish in a day. We couldn’t thank them enough—they truly run a top-notch operation. After an amazing day on the water, we were dropped off back at the cruise port. The waves can be a bit rough, so be prepared to feel the ocean, but we had no issues. The whole experience left us with memories to last a lifetime. We’ll definitely be back! Huge thanks to Doña Nina Fishing!
