Hard to describe the amazing experience we had with Captain Joaquin. He didn’t just know “spots”, he knew the species and what they liked to do depending on the conditions. He read the tides, the wind, the birds, and knew what to do to put us on action. We got a taste of every species and came home with a variety of meat for the family and some friends. A couple PBs, some secrets shared, and learned a few new casting styles (leg up). On top of all that Joaquin is relaxed, respectful, professional, and honest. First time fishing where I lost count. Can’t wait until our next trip. So much fun. Sorry about your head.

I’ve been on a few guided fishing trips in my day, and I have also guided fishing trips myself. This guy checks every box. Probably the best guide I’ve had. His awareness for everyone’s needs from the front of the boat to the back is on point. Always making sure everyone is comfortable and having fun. Doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or professional fisherman. He treated us like he knew us his whole life and it made our trip one to remember. Only reason I’m giving him 5 stars is because 10 isn’t an option…..

Spent 2 days fishing with Joaquin. He was very knowledgeable about the bay system. The fishing was a bit tuff but he worked hard to put us on fish. He helped us with a variety of technics presenting both live and artificial baits in order to make sure we hooked and landed some quality fish. Both his boat and gear are top quality. He was very attentive to all of us and put safety first which is very important to me. I look forward to my next trip with him in the very near future.
