Drift Away Charters welcomes you for an enjoyable day of fishing out of South Padre Island, Texas. Captain Brian will guide you to the area’s fish-rich inshore grounds and flats and help you have a successful and fun time on the water. Join him aboard and explore the lovely waters around South Padre Island. Guaranteed Catch or its free.

The boat you’ll use for fishing is a 21’ Shallow Sport flats boat that can sit up to 3 guests. It’s powered by a 140 HP Suzuki engine and rigged with GPS and Fish finder technology used for safe and efficient navigation. The boat has also got a Livewell to provide live bait.

The species you’ll primarily target are Redfish and Spotted Seatrout, but other fish may come up as well. Capt. Brian generally uses live or cut bait depending on the species you’re after. Using light tackle, you’ll be bottom fishing, popping, and drift fishing. You’re free to choose whether you’ll keep or release the fish you catch.I provide all fish cleaning.

Capt. Brian will provide all the fishing tackle and rods, as well as ice-cold water. You are more than welcome to bring the beverages and snacks of your choice.
