With Captain Dylan Lyons leading the way, you'll be guided by a seasoned local expert who knows exactly where to take you for a fun and productive outing.
Lake Texoma is one of the top destinations in the country for Striped Bass, and this is DW’s specialty. These fish put up a strong fight and can reach impressive sizes—perfect for anglers looking to take on a worthy opponent. Of course, the adventure doesn’t stop there. You could also hook into Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Catfish, and even the prehistoric-looking Alligator Gar, which always makes for a story-worthy catch.
Whether you’re an experienced angler or brand new to fishing, Capt. Dylan offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where everyone is welcome. He’s happy to coach beginners and share advanced techniques with seasoned guests. And yes—kids aged 5 and up are more than welcome on board, making this a great outing for families!
Your ride for the day is a 28’ Silver Dollar aluminum boat, freshly restored and ready for action. Powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine, it’s built for comfort and efficiency, with room for up to 8 guests. There’s a wireless trolling motor for navigating shallow areas quietly and GPS/fishfinder tech to keep you dialed in to where the fish are biting.
All fishing gear is provided, including rods, reels, and tackle. If you’re interested in trying something different, fly fishing and bowfishing gear are available on request. These methods are a great way to mix things up, and the group can rotate turns to ensure everyone gets in on the fun.
As for your catch—once you’re back on dry land, the first mate will clean and fillet your fish so it’s ready to cook. A 10–20% tip is a thoughtful way to thank the crew for their hard work and service.
Before you come aboard, just make sure to bring a valid fishing license, your favorite snacks, drinks, and towels. DW’s Guide Service takes care of the rest.
So if you’re planning a trip to Lake Texoma or the Red River, make the most of it with DW’s Guide Service. The fish are biting, the boat is ready, and Capt. Dylan is eager to guide you to an incredible day on the water.

We had Captain Dillon on our boat, and he was on top of everything—quick to bait hooks, remove caught fish, and re-bait lines without missing a beat. Even though the fish weren’t biting much that day, he worked hard, trying multiple spots and techniques like drifting, using the fish finder, and adjusting depth to improve our chances. Thanks to his effort, we still ended up with a solid catch to take home. I’ll definitely be booking with this guide service again!
