Visit Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, and spend a day exploring local bay fishing grounds with Ebbtide Fishing Charters. Captain Robert Henn welcomes anglers of all skill levels aboard the 60-foot Vima Craft for a trip shaped around the season, the conditions, and the fish available. Whether you are an experienced angler or new to fishing, Captain Robert is happy to share his knowledge and help you make the most of your time on the water as a crew.

The Vima Craft offers space for groups of up to 60 guests and is equipped with air conditioning, twin Detroit Diesel engines, fish-finding equipment, radar, and GPS. The boat travels inshore and midshore, including to local wreck locations, giving your group a range of waters to fish. Depending on the time of year and what is active, you may target Flounder, Striped Bass, Black Seabass, or Cod. Fishing is available throughout the year, though winter is generally the slowest season and some species may not be available at that time.

Try different approaches during your trip, including light tackle, heavy tackle, deep-sea fishing, and drift fishing. Captain Robert can offer guidance along the way, making the outing welcoming for beginners while giving more experienced anglers the chance to focus on their preferred techniques. The day’s plan can vary with the season and conditions, so the crew will work with the opportunities available on the water.

Fishing gear and live bait are provided, and a New Jersey fishing license is included, so you can arrive ready to fish. At the end of the trip, you can choose whether to keep or release your catch. If you keep fish, the crew can help clean it for you. Bring any personal items your group needs for a day aboard, and check trip details with the charter before departure.

Alcohol is not permitted aboard, except for small quantities of beer. The trip price does not include a tip for the mates; a gratuity of 20% is customary. Please plan for this when budgeting for your outing.
