Experience the beauty and productive waters of the Missouri Ozarks with a knowledgeable fishing guide who brings 50 years of experience to every trip. Whether you want to chase Crappie, Catfish, or Walleye, your guide will tailor the day to your skill level, goals, and preferred pace. Trips take place on Pomme de Terre Lake, Truman Reservoir, and Stockton Lake, three scenic fisheries known for steady action, peaceful surroundings, and excellent freshwater fishing.
Step aboard an 18-foot 2022 Tracker Targa powered by a 150 HP Mercury engine. The boat can reach speeds of up to 50 mph, allowing your guide to move efficiently between productive areas. With space for up to two customers, every outing offers a private and personal fishing experience with plenty of one-on-one guidance. Beginners, experienced anglers, families, and children are all welcome.
Your guide started fishing at a young age with his father and other family members. Over the years, he discovered that helping others catch fish was just as rewarding as catching them himself. Becoming a guide was a natural way to share that lifelong passion while giving guests a chance to relax, learn, and create lasting memories on the water.
One of his favorite guiding memories involved two guests who had only caught small Bluegill before. During their trip, they landed several large Catfish, and their excitement showed exactly why he enjoys guiding. Each trip is about more than the number of fish caught. It is about helping guests experience the confidence, fun, and connection that come from a great day outdoors.
The Missouri Ozarks provide an ideal setting for guided fishing trips. Rolling hills, wooded shorelines, wildlife, and quiet coves create a peaceful backdrop while Crappie, Catfish, and Walleye offer plenty of opportunities throughout the year. Peak fishing periods run from February through May and October through December, especially for Crappie. Summer and shoulder-season trips can also be productive, with fewer boats and a more relaxed atmosphere.
Guests must purchase a valid Missouri fishing license before the trip. As long as the lakes are not frozen and severe weather is not present, guided fishing is available year-round. Book a private Missouri fishing trip and enjoy expert local knowledge, scenic Ozarks waters, and a memorable day chasing fish on Pomme de Terre, Truman Reservoir, or Stockton Lake. Ask your guide about rods, reels, tackle, bait and anything else needed before the trip.
