The charter is operated by Captain Will Hubbard, a passionate local who grew up angling the inshore and nearshore waters of Placida, Florida. Join him on a beautiful quest and create lovely memories on the water as you chase various prized species.
You will fish aboard his 23’ Hanson center console powered by a 150 HP Suzuki engine that ensures a safe and comfortable ride. This vessel is equipped with top-of-the-line electronics that will help in navigating the fish. A wireless trolling motor is also available so as to not disturb the species underneath.
When it comes to your catch the likes of Black Drum, Gag Grouper, King Mackerel, Redfish, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Snook, as well as many other interesting species are up for taking. You'll have an opportunity to try out various techniques with the help of the captain and his crew! You can also keep your catch or release it back for the next generations to see.
Family Traditions Charter Co will provide all the fishing equipment and licenses you'll need as well as cleaning and filleting of your catch. Just pack your favorite snacks and drinks. Captain Will kept us entertained the entire day. There wasn’t a lull for more than 20 minutes where we weren’t catching fish. Caught six different species but mostly redfish and snook.. I even learned a lot of stuff about saltwater fishing that I didn’t know before. Really good guy would definitely use again.
