Captain Jason May operates a 268 Sea Fox Commander, which is powered by two Yamaha 150 four-stroke outboard engines. The boat can accommodate up to 6 passengers. It is equipped with the newest top-of-the-line equipment, including 15ft taco outriggers for trolling, dual Garmin’s which are used for chart plotting, and sonar—all crucial to finding fish.
The boat was equipped with up-to-date USCG safety equipment, a First Aid Kit, an EPIRB, and satellite communication. The vessel also had life vests for everyone—and children were required to wear them while boating. With their top-of-the-line gear and boats, you can be sure that your trip will be nothing short of extraordinary.
You can choose from several options for your fishing excursion, depending on how long you want to stay out and what kinds of fish you're trying to catch. You can catch Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, and other fish using bottom fishing. For trolling and offshore fishing, you can catch Mahi Mahi, Wahoo—or Amberjack or Tuna.
The crew will take care of all other details: purchasing and preparing your fishing licenses, providing equipment and bottled water on board the boat, and cleaning and filleting fish while you relax.

Hands down best Captain out there ! He took us out last minute - saved our whole vacation ! We had us hooked up on fish quick ! Hit them all day ! Boat was really nice - great equipment and even better guides !

We just got in from a 10 hour trip with Capt. Jason. We were unsure of what the day would be like due to rough seas. Because of excellent seamanship, the Capt. got us to the fishing grounds without us getting drenched! Every spot we went to landed great catches. When the bite dropped off or the fish were small he moved us to a new spot and we started back at catching. We ended the day with our 20 keepers. We've been on a lot of commercial charters and those captains don't compare. Capt. Jason's love for fishing shows! He goes out of his way to make sure his customers are comfortable and catching. We loved our conversation and feel like we walked away with a friendship and not just a business transaction. Thank you for ending our vacation on a high note!!!

We went out last Wednesday. The weather wasn’t perfect but we were pretty firm on wanting to go. It wasn’t dangerous, just a little rough so Jason accommodated our wishes. It was a fantastic time. His equipment is very nice. Jason and his first mate, Chase, are good guys - a pleasure to be around. We hooked a couple of large fish that made the reels scream. We weren’t able to land them but memories were definitely made. Then Jason took us to a spot and we were able to catch smaller fish as fast as we could re-bait our hooks and drop the line. I’m a novice at this kind of fishing but Jason and crew took care of us - showed us what to do and let us do it. Jason knows the fishing business. I highly recommend First Response Fishing Charters!

Today we went on a private chartered fishing trip with Captain Jason May. His boat was so beautiful and well equipped even for any emergency! He really knows the waters and took us to multiple places that the fish were biting using his high tech fish finder. Jason provided all the gear for us to fish with and helped us to bait our hooks and remove our fish that we caught Worked with our group as we were at varies levels.Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend booking with him you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Captain Jason
