Malik Wilder, Captain at Fish Pro Co

FishProCo Guide Service invites you to experience Atlanta’s freshwater fishing at its best. Captain Wilder brings more than four decades of time on the water, and he’s built his guide service around teaching, comfort, and steady action for anglers of all ages. Whether you’re new to fishing or you’ve spent years chasing your favorite species, he tailors every trip to match your goals and the conditions of the day.

Your adventure takes place aboard a 20’ Carolina Skiff that seats up to four guests. It’s a reliable, open layout boat designed for casting, learning, and enjoying time outside. A wireless trolling motor helps keep you in ideal positions, and the onboard cooler is packed with drinks and snacks to keep everyone comfortable. You’re welcome to bring your own items as well, and the captain is always happy to accommodate special requests.

Striped Bass and Crappie are the primary targets throughout the year, with seasonal patterns guiding where and how you’ll approach the bite. Captain Wilder adjusts each trip based on weather, water clarity, and movement of the fish. Light tackle, trolling, drifting, jigging, popping, spinning, and even fly fishing are all part of his toolbox. He enjoys explaining every technique and helping guests understand why certain methods work at certain times. His goal is for you to leave the boat with new skills, good memories, and photos worth sharing.

FishProCo offers half-day and full-day trips, along with private outings and customizable specialty trips. Families appreciate his patience and teaching style, while experienced anglers enjoy the focused approach and clear communication. For guests who want more than a traditional outing, he also offers educational classes and virtual fishing instruction.

Peak demand often lands in the warmer months when fish feed aggressively, but spring and fall remain great choices for anglers who prefer lighter pressure and scenic lake views. All trips require a valid fishing license, so plan ahead before meeting the captain at the dock. The final payment is due at departure, and tips are welcome for great service.

Book your trip with FishProCo Guide Service and enjoy a day on the water with a knowledgeable guide who loves helping guests make lifelong memories.
