You will cruise the area aboard a 33' long Grady White 326 Canyon, a 2020 model center console. The boat can accommodate up to 4 passengers at a time and has two Yamaha engines with the combined ability to reach 43 knots in speed. With twin 16-inch Garmin fish finders and sonar, you will have the complete fishing experience. Outriggers are also available for trolling, allowing you to cover more ground and increase your chances of success. With this vessel, you will be able to travel from one exciting location to another in no time.
Fish are available to be caught all year round, but some species aren't always in season. So it's a good idea to ask the crew which fish you should target at certain times of the year. The day will be spent going after Red snapper, Mangrove snapper, Mahi Mahi, Groupers, and triggerfish. You'll also target Amberjack, Cobia, and King Mackerel. The charter covers areas in both shallower and deep waters, including reefs and shipwrecks. These diverse habitats provide ample opportunities for an exhilarating fishing experience.
You won't need to purchase a fishing license. Everything you'll need for your trip, including gear, lures, and bait, will already be on the boat when you arrive at your destination. The crew provides bottled water for refreshments, and you can use the onboard toilet for your convenience. Families with children are welcome, and special arrangements have been made to make your trip more comfortable. If you catch a fish, the crew will help clean and package it for you to take home as a delicious souvenir of your adventure.

Captain Phil is a great Captain and I will be coming fishing with him many times in the future. The weather did not cooperate but he took the extra steps to make the trip more than enjoyable.

I have done two trips with Fishing DJ Charters and captain Phil. He was very professional. I had never done any sea fishing before and he took the time to help teach me how to best approach catching fish in the Gulf. I was able to get on a lot of different types of fish and the keepers were amazing meals. His goal is to make sure everyone is safe and comes back with some fish. He really made it fun, taught me a lot about fishing and even cleaned the fish for me. He is kind and professional, I have zero complaints.

Our family had a great time fishing with Capt. Rainey. The music was great and it was cool riding through the Choctawhatcee Bay on our way to the Gulf of Mexico and back. We made some nice catches of red snapper and wonderful memories.
