it is so nice to see people year after year. this gentleman has been on seven different trips with me anywhere from taking his kids fishing on a sound trip to taking his buddies fishing on the tower trip. he's always a fresh face and happy every time we get on the boat. this year he picked a nice calm day and we were able to go out to the Tower and catch some amberjack and then try to find mahi.
today I got to take out my customers that are repeat business for The last 5 years. he flies all over the world and fishes and it's an honor to take him fishing each year. this year he wanted the tower trip so that's what we did. on a beautiful morning we went first thing out the gate and caught our bait fish mostly small crackers couple blue fish. then we traveled 21 miles straight out into the ocean to an Old Tower where we set out to catch amberjack. after the boys getting their fight on then it became a trolling trip to see if we could locate albacore King mackerel or any mahi. we did end up with a big albacore and had a good hit from a sailfish but did not get any bites on anything else. absolutely gorgeous day and was honor to take him fishing God bless.
The gentleman when he got the charter asked that his grandchildren could catch something bigger than a croaker. After taking them to the abundance
we had a group on today that was hoping to go off the beach 20 miles and try to find some Mahi unfortunately with a Southwest wind of 28 to 30 we were not able to do that. instead we went down the beach about 29 miles to find a rock pile and a wreck. on the way down we were able to pick up some Spanish mackerel when we got to the wreck we were able to pick up a nice small King mackerel along with the Albacore and then we headed to the rocks. where at that point in time we did some trolling and lost the amberjack and caught a white dotter shark and lost a amber jack. after that we broke out the bottom fishing poles and caught about 8 sea bass unfortunately none we're big enough to keep. we all saw you caught 8 king mackerel that were too small. all in all had a lot of action with a small amount of fish to keep. knowing that their last trip they had with another guy did not produce anything they had a blast!
We had a gorgeous day on the Outer Banks today. Head Spanish mackerel and blue fish and were able to slide out and find a false Albacore while we were looking for king mackerel. Southwest wind at 6 mile an hour made for smooth Seas. You coming to the Outer Banks look us up and come go fishing in the legendary graveyard of the Atlantic.
This past week was the opening week to start our season for the fishing Taxi. Little bit of choppy weather but we're still able to pull out some good fishing and some great memories. Outer banks are starting to come alive and the fish are moving through with the occasional faults Albacore Spanish mackerel Bluefish and even a Cobia here and there. Looking for your dreams to come true on the Outer Banks North Carolina we'd be more than happy to put you in the spot to make that happen.
Just had the most exhilarating redfish fishing experience! The thrill of the chase and the satisfaction of reeling in those vibrant red beauties made it a day on the water I won't soon forget
Ahoy, fellow anglers! Captain Doug here with your latest fishing report from the picturesque Outer Banks of North Carolina. It's been an exciting week out on the water, and I'm thrilled to share the highlights with you. The weather this week has been absolutely ideal for fishing. We've had clear skies, gentle breezes, and temperatures in the low 80s. Perfect conditions for a day of angling! The waters have been cooperative, and we've seen some fantastic catches lately. Inshore fishing has been particularly productive this week. The speckled trout bite has been on fire, with anglers reeling in some beautiful specimens. Redfish are also making appearances, providing an added thrill for our inshore enthusiasts. Those looking for some action nearshore have been in luck too. Spanish mackerel and bluefish are abundant, offering some exciting battles for our anglers. These feisty fish have been putting up quite a fight, making for memorable fishing experiences. Our offshore charters have been targeting mahi-mahi, and it's safe to say they've struck gold! Mahi-mahi fishing has been excellent, with some impressive catches of these vibrant, delicious fish. The occasional wahoo and yellowfin tuna have also graced our lines, adding some extra excitement to our offshore adventures. Don't forget that bluefin tuna season is right around the corner, and we're gearing up for some epic battles with these giants. If you're itching for a bluefin showdown, be sure to book your trip in advance! That's a wrap for this week's fishing report. As always, it's a pleasure to guide our guests through the bountiful waters of the Outer Banks, and I can't wait to see what the coming days will bring. If you're ready for an unforgettable fishing experience, don't hesitate to reach out and book your trip with us. Tight lines and smooth sailing until next time!

We had an amazing experience during our fishing excursion, with both the captain and deck hand being extremely friendly and ensuring our enjoyment throughout the trip.

During our 4-hour trip, we managed to catch approximately 7-8 distinct types of fish, totaling around 150 fish. It was an incredible experience, and we are already looking forward to our next outing.

We reserved a 6-hour journey and Captain Doug and first mate Ben were absolutely outstanding. They even went beyond our scheduled time to help us catch fish. We were extremely grateful for their extra dedication. The boat itself was fantastic - clean with a pleasant breeze throughout. We spent most of the day trolling, starting just before 6:00. Unfortunately, we only managed to find a few fish, which was frustrating considering that Captain Doug's friends had a successful trip the day before, catching 55 fish. This is our second trip in 2 weeks (with a different charter the first time), and we encountered similar results. I've decided not to go fishing in July since it hasn't been very productive in terms of fish quantity, despite the efforts made by Captain Doug and Ben. Nonetheless, we sincerely appreciate their exceptional commitment!

The assistance provided by Captain Doug and mate Ben was exceptional when we caught several fish. They were not only helpful and patient with our children but also took the time to teach them various tricks and techniques. I highly recommend their services.

I had an exceptional fishing experience on this trip. The captain and mates were outstanding. Captain Doug was incredibly knowledgeable about the best fishing locations, and mate Ben was skilled at his job. We successfully caught 6 amberjacks, and even managed to reel in a mahi mahi while trolling. I highly recommend going on the tower trip with Captain Doug and mate Ben.
