They provide full-service outfitters specializing in day trips for some of the best inshore fishing action Louisiana has to offer. The Captain will bring you to the waters of Calcasieu Estuary, which includes the Calcasieu River, Lake Calcasieu, Black Lake and the Ship Channel to the Gulf. Perfect for novice or expert, everyone is welcome to join!
Captain Thomas Adams has many years of experience fishing the waterways of Louisiana. He is passionate about what he does and wants to provide everyone with not only the best Louisiana fishing but also the most memorable and exciting trip.
You’ll start by hopping on a 24ft. Nautic Star Bay Boat powered with a 250 HP Mercury Opti Max to fish the inshore and coastal waters of Southwest Louisiana. This inshore boat is shallow enough to get right on the fish deep in the bayous. With plenty of room, it can comfortably fish 3 people but can accommodate up to 4 anglers. There are available oversized fish boxes for those who want to keep their catch. There is also a live bait well available for use and an ice chest loaded with ice to keep your drinks cold already on board.
Rods and reels, tackle, baits and fish cleaning are included. All you need to bring is your Louisiana fishing license (which can be purchased online or at the marina), beverages and snacks of your choice, and a camera to capture your memories. Lodging and meals are available upon request.

Having fished with well over 10 different guides, I can confidently say that, without exception, Tommy’s Guide Service is the best I’ve ever hired. Tommy is attentive, on time, honest, smart, and in touch with his customers. His top priority was our safety, followed by putting us on fish. Tommy put us on good fish immediately, and we stayed on them all day. We caught so many fish on Saturday, that we called our Sunday trip after a few hours. We also boated a 45lb redfish on this trip, a lifetime fish for most. We are already planning our next trip with him. Highly respected guide. Highly recommend.
