With over 30 years of fishing experience in saltwater and freshwater, Sam has spent the last 15 years more focused on targeting the freshwater Bass of the New England states than any other species, though still making time for Pike, Trout, Striped Bass, Crappie and Perch. Guide trips have taken him and his clients from northern locations like Lake Champlain in VT to the brackish tidal waters of the CT, Hudson, and Housatonic Rivers. Offering trips for the beginner (most common) to the experienced angler, he's sure to have the perfect idea for a trip for you and your guests. With two fully rigged boats with all the newest technology in sonar, he can accommodate trips from 1-6 people comfortably. As a former teacher and father of two young boys, he is just as skilled at gently and capably young kids how to catch their first fish as he is showing an experienced fisherman the best spots and methods for angling in New England.
Your fishing gear will be provided and is readily available once you hop on board. All you have to do is to pack some snacks and drinks, sun protection, be in your weather-appropriate clothing and you’re good to go!
