Captain Mitch Gurick has over 20 years of angling experience in the area and he’s happy to share that knowledge with his customers. He loves fishing from the shallow backwater marsh to the deep blue waterway offshore. No matter what you are targeting, Mitch loves putting puzzles together to catch fish and creating memories out on the water.
You will fish aboard a 30’ Eastward originally built-in 2021. Powered by twin 300 HP Mercury engines, this craft has a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots. She comes equipped with advanced fishing technology, including GPS, a fishfinder, live bait well, and wireless trolling motor for a safe and successful fishing trip. There is room on board for six passengers to fish in comfort.
Casting lines in the waters offshore for the big game isn’t just for experienced anglers! Even beginners will have fun trolling for the likes of Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo. You can also bottom fish for Grouper and Snapper. Closer to shore, expect to target Tarpon, Redfish, Flounder, and plenty more!
Kids over 5 are welcome on board. There are life vests available for them, just let the captain know the age of the kids before the trip so he can prepare the vests. The stable boat makes these trips good for kids, beginners, and the elderly.

What a day. Cpt Mitch picked us up and we set off on a journey to catch fish and catch fish we did. We caught so many fish I was tired of reeling in fish. It was a 10+ hour trip and worth every single penny. If you want to have fun and catch fish book with cpt Mitch. He knows the spots where the big fish bite. I’d give 10 stars if I could. Not one full moment all day. Thank you so much.

One of the greatest experiences of my life! My boyfriend booked this as a Christmas gift for us, best gift ever!! Mitch is amazing and knows exactly what to do and when to catch fish. Very kind as well! I highly recommend booking this Charter! We caught HUGE cobia, triggerfish, mahi mahi and TONS of red snapper. Thanks Mitch for an amazing day! Tom & Kelly

We went out straight to the fish. Once we started bottom fishing it was a mad house of getting fish into the boat. Skilled captain, very informative. Always worked with any tangles that happened.

Mitch is an absolutely great captain! We had a blast for my husbands birthday with our friends. We got to catch some really cool fish and see a lot of amazing wildlife. We will definitely use him again if we visit in the future. Highly recommend.
