Feel the breeze aboard the newly restored 24' Explorer bay boat that runs a powerful 300 HP Mercury engine that will take you to the hottest spots in the area. Outfitted with state-of-the-art electronics and has plenty of room for up to 4 guests, you sure have nothing to worry about.
Come face to gills with some of the most prized species in the area such as Flounder, Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Black Drum. You definitely won't be coming home empty-handed! Fish you catch are yours to keep, but you can release them if you wish.
No matter what age or level of experience you have, everyone is welcome to climb aboard. Bring your families, friends and even colleagues for a phenomenal day out on the waters. Children are also welcome to climb aboard!

You're not going to find a better Matagorda bay fishing guide than Capt. Fern. My son and I spent a full day with Fern and we caught limits of trout, redfish and a flounder. My son caught his personal best speck, and another highlight for him was catching a small blacktip shark. Fern was a great instructor and just a fun guy to be around. He is very laid back, but he's also completely wired into the Matagorda Bay fishing. My son was having so much fun that we stayed out longer than expected. I can't recommend him enough. Thanks Fern!

He is an outstanding person and guide. He is extremely experienced and familiar with Matagorda bay fishing. He put us on fish very fast and is efficient while on the water. We will use him as soon as possible. Yall won't be disappointed and will have a blast.
