Since we're not focused on fishing during these cruises, you don't need to worry about bringing any tackle or gear. Just show up ready to enjoy the ride. We typically head out about 2.5 to 3 hours before sunset, giving us time to explore different areas around Manteo and the surrounding waters. The route changes depending on conditions and what's looking good that evening – sometimes we'll cruise closer to the shore to check out the marshy areas where you might spot some local wildlife, other times we'll head out a bit further for those wide-open water views.
Even though this cruise isn't specifically a fishing trip, you're still going to see plenty of marine life during our time on the water. The waters around Manteo are incredibly productive, and during these evening hours, you'll often spot dolphins playing in our wake or cruising alongside the boat.
