As soon as we got the lines in the water, the fish started biting. We had a mix of Sheepshead, Bluefish, and Common Snook hitting our baits, and the crew was hooked up left and right. The Sheepshead put up a great fight, their unique teeth really clamping down on the hooks. And when that Bluefish hit, it was all about trying to keep it from stripping the line right off the reel! The Common Snook were a real highlight too - those torpedo-shaped bodies and incredible jumping ability make them such a thrill to target. Throughout the trip, the weather stayed fairly cooperative, with just enough rain to keep things interesting. The water clarity was excellent, and we were able to spot baitfish and other marine life as we worked our way through the mangroves and along the shoreline. Between the steady action and the beautiful natural surroundings, the time just flew by. Before we knew it, our 4-hour trip was coming to an end, but we had plenty of great memories and some tasty fillets to take home. In between the bites, we took in the gorgeous ocean views and just enjoyed being out on the water together. Dennis was absolutely fantastic! The boat looked brand new, though he mentioned it’s a 2018 model. My kids were thrilled with the top-of-the-line rods and reels. We got an early start, and the fishing was incredible—we landed three 15-pound tunas, a 30-pound amberjack, and another big catch, plus released two and lost three more. At one point, chaos broke out with three fish hooked at the same time, but Dennis expertly guided each of my kids on what to do to keep everything under control. He even filleted all the fish for us at the end. Having fished in Costa Rica, Naples, and Big Island, Hawaii, this was hands-down the best trip we’ve ever had. Bravo, Dennis!

The fishing was challenging, but the highlights were unforgettable—we spotted a Great White Shark and ended the trip on a high note with a sailfish! The captain went above and beyond, working tirelessly to make our trip as amazing as possible.
