Book with Mark Maloney
Barracudaville Charters is a full-time charter operator that offers great fishing trips year round! No matter what time of year you come to St. Petersburg, Florida, there's always something to catch. The charter is operated by Captain Mark Maloney, a third-generation angler who’s been fishing in the area since he was 8 years old. He will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing, which involves a 2 to 9-hour trip. Regardless of your fishing experience, you’ll have lots of interesting things to learn here.
You will spend the day aboard the Dorado (Center console), offering plenty of space for up to 6 anglers to be casting at any time. It runs on a 300 HP 2021 Suzuki engine that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 33 knots. The boat uses a Multimedia system, Radio, Sonar, and GPS/Fishfinder for efficient navigation. The boat has also got a Wireless Trolling Motor, an ice box to store your fish and drinks, and a Livewell to supply you with live bait.
If you are into catching the “big cool stuff” Captain Mark is your guy. He will have you reeling in Great Barracuda, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Gag Grouper, Goliath Grouper, King Mackerel, Permit, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Tarpon, Blackfin Tuna, and other large saltwater species, depending on the conditions and season. Combine bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and spinning depending on what you want to catch.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.
